MAMMOTH PEDALPALOOZA
We moved this year’s PedalPalooza to the end of July to fill a gap in the mountain bike racing calendar and to utilize the month of July as Altitude Acclimation training. Come to Mammoth Lakes to get acclimated to riding at 9,000 feet and prepare for the PedalPalooza and other high altitude races. We’ll be hosting training rides and are exploring the options of coached camps. Stay tuned for more information!
DON’T MISS THIS EPIC RACE WHERE THE VIBE IS FESTIVE, THE DIRT IS FLOWY, AND THE PEOPLE ARE FUN!
The 2026 PedalPalooza is inked for Saturday, JULY 25, 2026.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!
THE COST
SEMBA is an all volunteer non-profit, so we’re not in it for the money. We charge enough to cover the cost of putting on an amazing event with a little left over to give back to support our local junior racers. We pride ourselves on providing a great race at a reasonable entry fee. Registration includes a sweet swag bag, a taco bar lunch, and a beer from Mammoth Brewing.
$75 Early Bird Registration - January 5 to February 28
$95 Regular Registration - March 1 to July 24
SEMBA Members always get the $75 rate. We have discounts for Teams and Junior Racers too - email us to inquire.
THE COURSE
The PedalPalooza is 2 or 3 laps on a ~10-mile lap XC course. Pros, Experts, and Singlespeeds race 30 miles, and Sport races 20 miles on a course comprised of approximately 90% Singletrack, combined with small sections of service road for passing, entirely on the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park.
The course has been redesigned to include Big Ring, Paper Route, Timber Ridge, Lakes, Manzanita, Uptown, Downtown, and Lower Shotgun. We have rolling singletrack, solid climbs, sweet descents, and a technical downhill. On Course Feed Zone, Medical Aid Station, and Team Tech Area.
Check out the Strava link for reference. Course subject to modification.

THE CHALLENGES
Open to all racers are two Strava challenges: the “Oakley KOM / QOM Hill Climb” segment and the “Specialized Shotgun Downhill Challenge” segment. Fastest climb up Big Ring Climb (Official) earns an Oakley prize package for the fastest man, woman, U18 boy and girl. Fastest descent down the 2025 PedalPalooza Shotgun Challenge has a nice Specialized prize package for the man, woman, U18 boy and girl who hit this section the fastest. Be sure to check the Strava links to familiarize yourself with the segments. To be eligible for either challenge, you must be on STRAVA and publicly upload your race immediately after you finish. Look for the start and finish signs on course for these two segments. In the event of a tie for both the KOM/QOM and Shotgun Challenge, the prize will be awarded to the racer with the fastest overall lap time.
THE LOCATION
